Soul City Institute hosts a feminist allyship workshop
Soul City Institute held a feminist allyship workshop recently at the Kopanong Hotel & Conference Centre, GP. The workshop was attended by 20 male staff members from the organization's provincial social mobilizers and head office staff. The provinces represented included Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal. The workshop was facilitated by psychologist and artist Mthetho Tshemese (Village Shrink).
Limpopo office supports NdoH’s STI/Condom Week event
In partnership with the National Department of Health, Soul City Institute and LoveLife supported the National Department of Health STI/Condom Week event, which took place on February 12, 2022, at Manavhela Clinic in Vuwani Areas under Bungeni Local Area.

World AIDS Day - End inequalities. End Aids. End pandemics.
Today the world commemorates World AIDS Day (WAD) under the theme “End inequalities. End Aids. End pandemics”. This day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for people living with HIV, and commemorate those who have died from an HIV-related illness.
On the 5th of November 2021, Soul City conducted a wellness event. This is a twice a year event in which we strive to establish a work environment that is both physically and psychologically healthy.
On the 1st of October 2021, the Strategic and Integration department hosted a Safetipin workshop in Durban in collaboration with the eThekwini Municipality, where the results of the Safetipin audits were presented.
Limpopo Office launches Youth Zone at Malamulele clinic
Soul City Limpopo Office Hosted the Launch of Youth Zone integrated with Cheka Impilo Screening Services on the 16 October 2021 at Malamulele Clinic (Godfrey Mahlaule Site).
The Soul City Institute for Social Justice is appalled by the overturning by Acting Judge Tembeka Ngcukaitobi and Judge Nyameko Gqamana of the seven-year prison sentence originally handed down to Loyiso Coko for raping his partner.
