Did you know that, according to Arrive Alive, drunk driving is one of the biggest threats to Road Safety in South Africa.

Research shows that:

  • 50% of people who die on our roads have a blood alcohol level over 05 grams per 100 millilitres
  • 30% of fatalities follow violence, fueled by alcohol, as a cause of non-natural deaths
  • 38.8% of the pedestrians killed on our roads were under the influence of alcohol
