To mobilise and guide RISE and Soul Buddyz Club members to undertake club activities including advocacy actions aligned to club project objectives.
Implement the recruitment and registration of Soul Buddyz and Rise Young Women’s clubs.
Implement Raising Voices coalition advocacy with provincial and local government.
Collect attendance registers and registration forms from clubs.
Distribute relevant tools to clubs.
Ensure that clubs allocated to them meet weekly and report their attendance appropriately as required by Soul City
Develop monthly/quarterly club activities in consultation with Programme Officer
Weekly face to face and remote coaching sessions twice a month with RISE club members
Documentation of all coaching session and other club activities
Identify challenges faced by club that may impact on the participation in the programme and identify appropriate interventions to mitigate drop outs.
Track attendance of clubactivities by members
Ensure clubs social media action and visibility
Prepare and submit monthly progress reports
Identify key stakeholders who can contribute to meeting clubs objectives
Network with local stakeholders to support and profile the work of the clubs.
Facilitate club meetings with key decision makers.
Prepare reports as and when required in the right templates
Work closely with the programme officer to ensure club activities are seamlessly integrated into Soul City prohrammes.
Identify innovative ways and opportunities to meet the objectives of the programme.
Monitor and keep track of club members participation and mitigate against drop out.
A matric qualification. Post matric qualification advantageous
Experience and understanding of gender, children and young women sector issues is essential.
At least 2 years experience in community development/activism.
An understanding of advocacy work
