Nolwazi Shange as Dimpho Miya
Nolwazi Shange, a relatively new face in the entertainment industry, hails from Durban. She has appeared in well known programmes such as Mtunzini.com and portrayed Precious in A Place Called Home on SABC 1, a role for which she recently earned a nomination in the 2010 SAFTA Award for best supporting actress in a Drama. Nolwazi can also been seen in SABC2’s Heartlines, Heart laughs.
Nolwazi is fast making waves in the industry and recently completed the pilot for It’s For Life. Her talents are diverse - Nolwazi is also a professionally trained singer and dancer having performed on various occasions in The FNB Dance Umbrella and Jomba Dance festival. Her theatre experience includes Cinderella for The National Children’s Theatre, Arepp theatre for Life, Faces of Africa, and various festivals such as The Grahamstown Arts Festival and The Macufe Festival.
