The purpose of the event was to teach the community members how to create a marketable CV, how to conduct one’s self in an interview and also where to go when seeking employment. Representatives from the Chrisiana Labour Centre: Public Employment Services of the Department of Labour addressed the community on how to apply for positions and where to find out more on vacancies and succeeded in getting some community members to complete forms to be on the department’s database.
The Community feedback session at the workshop proved that there was a lot of learning that the young people of Glaudina did and would appreciate more sessions of this nature.
