Soul City encourages the public to run in support of those affected by HIV/AIDS

On Sunday, 02 December 2012, Soul City Athletes Club together with Ekurhuleni Athletes Club will host a half marathon in commemoration of World AIDS day and in support of those who are affected by the HIV/ AIDS disease. The half marathon, a 21.1km run, as well as the 10km race will start at 07h00 and the 5km family run will start at 07h20. All races, including the marathon, start at the Katlehong Sports Complex (Masakhane Road) in Katlehong.

Anyone can register at the sports and recreation office at the Germiston Stadium or at the Sweatshop in Dunkeld West. Registration will also take place at the Katlehong Sports Complex on Saturday, 01 December 2012 as well as on the morning of the day of the race.

There will be prizes and giveaways to award participant including prize money, medals and apparel.
