In this book Pumla unpacks the complex relationships around rape in SA by paying attention to patterns and trends of rape, asking what we can learn from famous cases and why South Africa is losing the battle against rape. 20 young women representing four different clubs from Buffalo City Municipality attended the launch. This is an important book for Rise Clubs.

The upcoming 10th edition of Rise Clubs Magazine deals with fighting rape. In this edition, there is a review of this book. The 10th edition of Rise Club Magazine is particularly important to the Eastern Cape because three personal stories about rape from the province are featured. It is important that Rise club members are part of the conversations on rap. Each member received a signed copy of the book. They will be going back to start the conversations in their respective clubs.
