Vusi Kunene as Tifo Miya

Vusi’s tv career has ranged from his role as Daniel in Homelands (for which he was nominated for a NTVA award for Best Actor) to Deafening Silence and Justice for All, which earned him an Avanti award for Best Actor. Of course, his role as Jack Mabso in Generations cemented his status as an icon amongst South African tv audiences.

Vusi has appeared in television films including Drumbeats, The Line and Rhodes. He played the role of Reverend Msimango in Cry the Beloved Country and his performance earned him an M-Net All Africa Film Award for Best Supporting Actor as well as a Zimbabwe - Southern African Film Festival award for Best Performance. Vusi also performed in Fools, Kini et Adams, A Reasonable Man, The King is Alive, Final Solution and Diamond Hunters.
