Soul City Series 10

Soul City Institute’s 10th series will be broadcast every Monday from 22 March 2009 on SABC 1 at 20h30.

The story contains serious messages through the gripping drama. In line with Soul City Institute’s edutainment focus, the dramatic storyline of Soul City Series 10 illustrates the disastrous effects of alcohol abuse and violence, issues which many viewers know all too well.

The series features accomplished actors such as Vusi Kunene as Tifo and Fana Mokoena as Phil. Jerusalema star Jafta Mamabolo plays the role of bad boy, Kagiso and Yesterday’s Harriet Manamela is Thandeka. There is also hot new talent in this series in the form of Nolwazi Shange and Neo Ntlatleng, who play star-crossed young lovers Dimpho and Menzi. Soul City 10 is produced by TOM Productions with the talented Akin Omotoso as director.

Soul City 10 forms part of the PHUZA WIZE campaign, a national campaign that encourages South Africans to change the way we drink.

Soul City series 9 attracted record viewership numbers and was nominated for a Golden Horn for Best Ensemble. High emotion, drama and intrigue will keep viewers glued to their seats in another action-packed series, which promises to educate, inform and entertain. Stay with us and be entertained!
