Expression of interest: Implementation of programmes addressing HIV and TB
Soul City Institute invites emerging registered and qualified South African Non- Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Community Based Organisations (CBOs) to notify us of their interest in responding to a request for proposals. The approved terms of reference (ToR) will be forwarded to interested parties before the start of the application date which will be on the 2nd of March 2016. Applicants will be provided 10 working days (until March 15th 2016) to compile proposals based on the ToRs that will be provided.
A total of 10 sub-recipients will be appointed. Applicants should indicate whether they are interested in doing all interventions as indicated below or only one of the interventions.

Intervention 1: Girls and boys 10-14 years: Soul Buddyz Clubs. Parenting programme for parents of children attending the Soul Buddyz Clubs. Child protection programmes.
Intervention 2: Adolescent girls 14-18 years: Peer education programme. Rise clubs in school. Academic support programme including structured homework support and career jamborees. Health education. Provision of/referral to appropriate SRH services. Teen parenting programme (in and out of school). Child protection programmes.
Intervention 3: Young women 19-24 years: RISE Young Women’s Clubs. Links to work seeker readiness programmes. Provision of outreach SRH services including HIV counselling and testing.
Intervention 4: Community: Dialogues on gender norms. Health and Welfare Jamborees.
